This section explains the process of performing a Partial Blank stocktake in Imagine. This method is different as there is no pre-selection of items. Instead, items are added to a blank list for counting and comparison.

It is recommended that stocktaking is performed whilst there is no POS or back-office activity for the items in a shop as stocktaking is done in real time.

See Partial Selection or Full stocktake if you do not need to perform a Partial Blank stocktake.

Partial Blank Stocktake Steps.

Step 1. Create a new stocktake. [sometimes referred to as declaring a stocktake].

Step 2. Count – Add items to the stocktake.

Step 3. Manual Count - Manually add items for stocktake.

Step 4. Calculate – Compares the counts to actual stock to produce a discrepancy report.

Step 5. Commit – Accept the discrepancy report and update the stock figures.
