If you require a payment option that is not on the list of default options then you can add a new payment type.

To add a new Payment Type press the + Symbol, this will add an empty line to the list.


Enter the following details

Payment Type Name – This will be displayed on the POS and receipts.

Is active in the POS – Check this box for the payment type to be active in the POS.

Should be reconciled – Check this box if the payment type is to be counted and recorded on the end of day cash statement.

Icon URL - Images can be assigned to custom payment types only. These are displayed on the POS payment buttons. A URL address for the image is required.

Payment Strategy – This determines how the custom Payment type will function.

Default - Functions like a cash sale.

Default Card – Functions like a card sale.

Default Foreign Voucher – Functions like a foreign Gift Certificate.

Ensure you press Save to keep your new payment type.
