This promotion is used where customers can buy a qualifying quantity of items from each of a number of specified groups of items.

This will function in a similar way to Deal Bundle however qualifying items will be split between one or more groups and a qualifying quantity must be purchased from the items in each group before triggering the deal. It is not required to buy every item in the group unlike the requirement in the Deal Bundle promotion.

For example a suit promotion may consist of a group called "Jackets" containing a range of jackets of multiple colours and sizes and a group called "Trousers" containing a range of trousers of multiple colours and sizes. In the promotion the customer must buy any one item from the Jackets group and any one item from Trousers group to get a deal price of 100 where individually the two items would cost 125.

Later you could extend this by adding a "Shirt" group containing a range of shirts of multiple colours and sizes. Now the promotion could be made so the customer should buy two shirts as well as one Jacket and one Trousers to qualify.

To create this promotion you should make Item Bundles with the item(s) that are included in this promotion. Generally at least two Item Bundles are required for this promotion type.

Set the Promotion Engine to Multi Group Deal Bundle and then set the price of the whole bundle. This is the price the customer should pay when all qualifying items have been added to the transaction.

The Item Bundles will be listed, you should alter the Quantity field to state how many items from each bundle the customer is required to purchase. In the example above you would set the Shirts Quantity to 2.
